just was sent a message about the gears of war patch going down tonight is there any truth to this and what is being changed?

Well i believe it may be true.. Havent gotten on to check it out but after reading another post here on HQ i believe its available.
The update will bring a entirely new GAME MODE to Gears of War online.
I believe it will be more like HALO or other FPS games where there are unlimited re-spawns etc..

Just confirmed the update. It auto updates upon start of the game. Haven't checked it out just yet, but can confirm.

Crap and my system just broke down, got the ring of death yesterday and the shipping box for repair is on its way, dang, bad timing.

Its just an additional multiplayer type.

yes it's unlimited respawning and it's just like king of the hill, fun, but unfortunate that none of the kills count towards any acheivments including the seriously acheivment
