Hi mate,

I dont understand whats wrong unless M$ have obviously made a update to stop 56k users from doing this..

Put it this way. With Internet Connection Sharing on and your XBOX 360 setup on the same network it should pickup your gamertag no probs.

The reason i say this is because i remember helping another member here on 360-hq (god knows who) to setup for 56k..

It did work but only for gamertag etc..

anyway, how about replying with all your info.. Like
- PC IP ADDRESS
- XBOX IP ADDRESS SUBNET ETC

Give us as much info as possible. We will do our best for ya.

What is your gateway for the xbox 360??
Your gateway should be the pc or router sharing the internet..

Also, Are you sure you have DNS added to your 360 too??

lmao, ok gateway was set on 360 but not on pc. its 255.255.255.0 right? and im not sure if its on DNS on 360 i'll let you know. Next week im getting sat. HIGHSPEED so I should be set 4 life Laughing

hey man sat. is good cuz you get live and all that but your connection wouldnt be that great i mean not as good as cable you might get alot of lag since your using sattallites but then again cable has lag too

thats true, but id rather ave the least amount of lag than alot lol, and satellite will give you lots of lag!!!! But if its all you can get, id rather have it, but, if not then you get it lol.
