Today i bought a used game (tom Rayder Legend). It seems to be ok, but any time that i arrive to the same part the 360 freezes and after that if i try to resume the game it did not start, it leaves a black screen. I did not have any problems with gears (new) and Ghost Recon (used). This is the common behavior for a damage game? The DVD has some scratch, but it did not seems like it is enough to damage the game. Any comments?

this has happen to me also . i have COD 3 i bought it USED came with minor scratches . when i start a new campaing when the annauncer is reading the intro of the game(the first movie clip) it freezes . tell me th;e disc is dirty. and jumps back to the dashboard by it self.... . im gonna take it back sat. cuz i have a 30 day guarantee
in my opinion just exchange it for another game. _________________________________________________________ HQ Lord Nikon 1b4
Have you tried cleaning the disc? When I get a scratch on a movie that makes it skip I use toothpaste and I'd say +95% of the time the movie plays fine after that.

Yea I tried the Tooth paste method but if you put too much you'll damage the disk so just put as much as you need do not over do it. Yea it's a good method though.

I rented a game from GameFly and made the mistake moving my 360 while powered on, totally scratched the disc. I sent it to 360 Llama disc repair for 10 bucks and it came back like new. I highly recommend those guys for seriously scratched discs, especially rented ones.
Here is a link for them:
