I'm thinking about buying one myself around June. I have heard that the Elite may possibly be a limited edition and they are only making a certain amount. Is this true? I don't want them to run out before June or July hits.

I don't know if they are limited edition or not, i heard that the color was limited edition.. They say that they will be selling the same elite consoles later on but in white with the same specs as the black elite. I myself was able to pick one up today, i wasn't going to buy one but i managed to sell one of my premium 360's so i went ahead and took the plunge, i basically broke even with this purchase which i'm happy about.. Now i need a stupid migration(which is not included in the box?) cable to transfer my 20gb harddrive over to the 120, what's really stupid about it is that you can only do the transfer one time!! That's right one Time!! From what i've read you can't transfer anything back to the 20gb which pretty much makes the drive useless, you completely wipe it out. Has anyone else bought an elite?? If so can you explain to me what use the 20gb hard drive has once you transfer all the files over to the 120gb hard drive, thanks in advance for your help.. _________________________________________________________ Xbox V1.3

I was hoping you could re format it and have full use of it still.

Yes you can still use it, I watched a Major Nelson video explaining the migration. He said you can give it to your friend that has a core system or sell it on your favorite auction site.
That does stink that the color will be limited edition .
Do you think they will last until June/July?
