I agree with over g fighters.. it did the same thing to me.... also I had to buy two nba 2k6 games cause 1 would freeze everytime u started changing players or creating a player..
Damn nvous that sucks......my friends 360 stopped reading games and as stupid as it sounds he blew compressed air in and it worked...anyways, if you have any spare games, etc laying around id appreciate it if you contacted me and maybe we could work something out again....also, still interested in an atari 5200 in box? _________________________________________________________ Xbox V1.6

There's tools to swap your key from one dvd-rom to another, so shouldn't be that hard to do it with your boxes, but I would definitely try compressed air first, then try taking it apart. You probably could find a drive on ebay or even through llamma if you wanted to, I'm sure he has quite a few by now. _________________________________________________________

i have a problem that hopefully can get the answer or a solution for. i had my 360 for 2 weeks and play an average of 3 hours a day. now my problem is i get a black screen, i check the video cables they are fine, and i check the sata connection inside the box. what could be the problem. the ring is not blinking any codes of error and when i connect my wireless controller in sync it notices the controller. but i cant even get it to load up to the xbox logo. whats wrong here? please help.

Do you get sound? If you get sound it may be something with your tv not switching to the right input correctly or with the 360 itself, I'd go into the settings and change to an hd setting different than what you have, or at least a widescreen vs standard screen, also make sure if you are using the component input that you have the switch set to hd. _________________________________________________________

have you tried replacing the basics.. Hopefully its a faulty cable but i doubt it...
No other error reported eh.. Thats strange..
If you have any more info please fill us in.. We will do our best.
thanks hobbs and sjohn for the quick response. i did check the basics and check all the cables. i tryed two different t.vs and check the settings on the cable and i still get a black screen and no audio. and i cant change the settings in the xbox dash because i cant even get it to load to the xbox microsoft screen. like i was asking before if there was a dianostic disk and i ran that on the 360 would that tell me whats wrong with it. or should i suck it up and buy a new one. boy i dont like that idea. thanks again guys for the input.
