Post subject: Left Stick triggers brightness gamma menu |

I have just set up mame_0.72 release 2. Everything looks good so far. Just this small weird problem.
When I use left stick of my xBox 360 controller, it triggers this menu that contains brightness, gamma etc. (Screenshot attached)
When I move the stick left or right, it increases/decreases the brightness as well. Which makes it very difficult to play the game.
