I just pre-ordered the new cod for the Xbox One. Let's hope it's nothing like ghosts. _________________________________________________________ Xbox v1.1

Personally black ops is my favorite and always has been. It just seems to play so much better for me. I still might pick up the new one to try the multiplayer but I'm still not 100% on that yet. I know HQ ozzy is a die hard fan and will be getting it for sure, wont you ozzy! lmfao _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

**WARNING Rant begins below lol***
I played call of duty black ops the other week.
I must say it is one of the worst shooters I have ever played in my life. The game doesn't let you wander around the map, you have only one path to choose and have to go that direction. This is what bugs me about these types of shooters the most, they're simply on-the-rail shooters disguised as 3D games masquerading as free roam games. Goldeneye 64 allowed for a decent amount of exploring and sneaking up on enemies since you were allowed to go off the beaten path.
The game throws in a bunch of unnecessary cutscenes during missions to make the game seem more exciting. The interactive ones are quite amusing, they require you to press one button so it feels like you're really part of the action! Throwing in gratuitous cutscenes was bad enough, but now I can't skip them because I'm require to participate? No thanks.
The health mechanics are pretty ridiculous. Sure Halo has recharging shields, but that is plausible. In COD you get shot, your screen gets bloody, but after 10 seconds or so, the blood goes away and you're good as new!
The overuse of slow motion to kill enemies is pretty silly, every time you need to kill a big boss, then it's slow motion time, where you don't even need to put any effort in! Super fun! I like casual games, but that mechanics is pretty lame.
I honestly don't understand the hype over any call of duty game. I stopped playing after a half an hour of COD black ops. The game is incredibly boring. No thought went into the game.
One COD game that looks good is "Duty Calls" the PC parody of Call of Duty.
"Bloody screen! So real...."
Love how they rip on COD map intros as well. They're simply used to mask the super long level loading times with fancy graphics and an important sounding debriefing.
I honestly don't know what happened to shooters after Goldeneye64. Very sad, no innovation at all anymore. No wonder people just mod consoles and download games for free. Video game developers today pretend to care and we all pretend to buy...

I agree with you halofan 100%! Halo 4 tried to do some of the same things as the cod games which bothered me a little, but still the game play is better than any cod game.
I did get into cod bo2 a bit for the multiplayer but will always be a die hard halo fan. (I own all 5 special edition halo consoles.)
I like how they say dlc first on Xbox. They should just say spend your money on dlc first on Xbox.
