I have a cheapo walmart version I don't see it lasting all that much, I originally wanted to do a hackintosh dual boot windows but couldnt get idenib working with it. I just got it because of large hdd and it had a i5 cpu.
I may get a cheapo $400 AIO desktop once I start work. _________________________________________________________ The internet, a place where people expect you to know what they know.

Well i've had my new computer for nearly a week now and i'm very happy, glad i went for the bigger screen over portability makes such a difference, i can have more than one window open at a time
The touch screen is nice, thought i wouldn't use it but it's quite handy.
As for windows 8, i have seen people moan about the lack of a start menu, and after using it for the last few days... so. The start menu gets clogged up with useless crap and if you don't pin programs to the taskbar and create your own menus then you should start.
Windows 8 is a big step up from 7 i think, i like the metro homepage its definitely the way forward. Even without a touch screen, windows 8 is still just as usable, makes windows 7 look dated. _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.
