Im looking for some people who like me had issues installing the update for Dead Rising 2/OTR. Namely the game would run for a minute then crash.
I think Ive identified the issue, and have tested on my PC with both games. But because there appears to be a host of issues and "fixes" that work for some floating the net Id like to get this tested by others as well.
I tracked the issue to the reg entries made by the C++ Redistributeable both games require and install/modify, and made a little exe that properly edits it after applying the update.
So if you have these games on PC and are stuck playing offline because the update doesnt work for shit and would like to try this just respond here and I will give you the download link. Once this has been tried and confirmed by more than just me Ill publicly release it.
