EA says they are no longer in the business of making offline games.
"We're seeing more and more of the online experience being part-and-parcel of every game. We don't ship a game at EA that is offline; just doesn't happen," Moore said.
"So yeah, we don't deliver offline experiences any more."
it seems like they are crippling their available targets, has offline not given them the success they have so far found?
less development and more money online i guess, this is all to do with drm and the money that they think they are missing out on.
i think if they stop offline play development people will move to the next best game.

I think that can be read two ways. I suspect what they are saying is every game they make has a bigger online experience than offline. They will always do a single player season.
But if you want to play sports games online then you would really need one of the latest versions as you will have more chance of online players to compete with. _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.

I agree they can't release FIFA online only, nobody will play and everyone will buy PES instead. So that's bullshit what they mean is online capabilities in all games (ME online sucks big time) _________________________________________________________
EA doesnt have a very good track record when it comes to online for their PC releases. After Command and Conquer4 there was pretty much an angry mob with pitch-forks and torches outside their building screaming for blood. BF3 gets disconnected all the time too, or just cant connect period. Before moving to an online only approach for everything they need to fix the online games they have now or people wont have any faith in them.
alice madness returns is ea published and it has no online leaderboards or anything ive seen, only additional content that could have been included on disc.
