Microsoft has confirmed to Digital Trends that the next generation Xbox One will in-fact be region locked. This means if you plan to purchase an Xbox One from a particular region (eg. United States), you won't be able to import games from other regions like Germany, Brazil, Europe, and Japan. The Xbox 360 is not region locked and developers can choose to make them region free.
Glad we got our R18+ rating then otherwise I bet we'd miss out on a buttload of games.

Which means for me - No NCAA Football. I want that game so bad and I have never been able to buy it and play it on my Swedish Xbox

Region locking in general is bad for the consumer. It sucks with movies, and it sucks with games. I'm surprised music isn't region locked by now. _________________________________________________________
