I'm wanting to purchase a cooler for my 360 because I want it to be in top condition. (longer life, no overheating) The only two coolers I have found are the Nyko Cooler that attaches to the back of the 360 and a Pelican stand one that I believe has a USB connection.
Does anyone know which would be the best buy, or if there are any better ones out there?

The best way to cool a 360 is water blocks. Out of the question for most people. Another option you have would be to buy a laptop cooler. Powered by usb (some models) and quiet, this might be another solution.

honestly i dont see an advantage to these consumer friendly cooling systems.
Lets take a look at how they work-
The Nyko intercooler hooks up to the back of your system, and requires you to work through your power supply- so you could expect its effects to be negilible- as it would be consuming more powr, not good for your power brick at all-
now the Fan stand, i doubt its effective, but i could be wrong.
I would just say the only way to make sure your system is cool, keep it an open area- somewhere ventalated. Or you could be super cool by adding a liquid system,- although it would void your warrenty, it would be your best bet-
honestly, i dont feel that the extra cooling is of any use- i havent used it and i have had my 360 since luanch- and its been stuck in a tight area.
Thats just my 2 cents,

this is good for voiding your warranty, but it looks like it will be a kick a$$ upgrade and cool off your 360:
That whisper fan does look sweet. But I haven't opened my xbox up yet, and I'm not too anxious to void the waranty on it. Does anyone know how to install that fan once i have it opened up?

im waiting for the 90 days to go on through- then i'll start flashing this, and installing that- i'll also buy another 360- with another live account- just incase they fig out how to ban accounts with the firmware mod.
