Check out the Aliens: Colonial Marines Action Trailer which includes gameplay which was shown at this years Gamescom event. Suit up as a Colonial Marine and confront hordes of the infamous aliens solo, or in four player co-op mode when Aliens: Colonial Marines launches in 2012.

Just installed this game on my PC. I have not really played except for the first level so no opinion yet, but have heard nothing but bad things about it, I guess it did not live up to expectations. I put up a partial level play video for showing people how to turn off the hud. Now if I could just figure out how to remove the hands/gun from view I could make some animated desktops out of the scenery.
The graphics look a bit better than in the video you see here, I had to lighten the video up as it came out too dark on youtube, this washed out some of the detail.

If you are a fan of the Alien movies you gonna enjoy it. The game is cool.
Until yesterday, I was going to play when I release my game save data was all wipe out. Apparently the game is saving in the cache of the console, when the cache is clear you can say goodbye to everything (even the online rank)
The official forum is full with complains about it.
Another thing is that they are cheating the costumers, the game doesn't use the same gfx engine as in the demo that you see in the trailer. See the video.
Yeah I was really excited about this game and then I heard it was absolute rubbish so I think I will avoid it till it's either cheaper or patched up.

Ya, I just read the other day that the devs are planning an 8gb patch! so maybe that will bring everything back up to the demo levels.

An 8gb patch that's insane but if it makes this game awesome well then it's worth it and the download that comes with it.
Yeah this game had so much to give so lets hope it's allowed to give it.

Easter Egg. Movie or security footage playing on a computer screen in a hard to find basement office in the game, is a scene from the movie Alien (1979) where Ripley is in here panties.

Wow. Except for all the complaints this look s real good. The demo video has amazing graphics.
