I love wireless, too many cables already.

If you are using N technology there is no such thing as lag

Wireless lag exists in any wireless tech especially if there's lots of wireless background interference caused by other wireless devices.

1 second is 1000ms so having 5ms or 10ms is pretty much the same...it's instantaneous Idea

Not true, if i played wireless, i wont ever get host.. But when i go wired, that 7 MS gives me host nearly every single time, i can guarantee it. Host is always the person with the lowest ping from my experience. Smile

Shocked

Speed matters too or better said as data transfer rates.

Wireless 300 mbps or wired 1000 mbps - you tell me.

See in my house we have all sorts of devices and computers using the home network like the VOIP phone, 360, 2 TV streaming boxes, computer backups to a server and so on. Wireless does doesn't cut it here so we do a mixed of both depending on the requirement but my 360 is direct to external firewall on wire so nothing interferes with my TV, movie watching and game play.
