I might grab a SSD and throw it in my desktop (better yet laptop) and load windows on to it. I'd just use it for Downloading 360 games. I was wondering if I'd see any difference in time for transferring files onto an external drive. _________________________________________________________ The internet, a place where people expect you to know what they know.
Set up
47" LG HDTV
Xbox 360 slim 0225 TX PCB; xk3ys/1TB HDD
PS2 Sliver slim, Freemcboot
Dreamcast, Free Boot
PSP, cfw I forgot which
GCW Zero
RIP UnleashX Xbox needs new hdd
HP envy 17.3" i5 lappy w/22" external monitor
No transfer speed will always be limited by the USB interface. If its 2.0 all you will see is a max of 2.0 speeds. All an SSD does is makes stuff load faster.

The thing I would be wondering is, What OS will you be running and what size of SSD you plan on getting? _________________________________________________________

True, Linux has faster file transfer speeds using EXT4 file system (Because of that Xk3y recommends using EXT4 on it) _________________________________________________________
