alot easier to keep up-to-date. Just pop on the latest update onto your usb harddrive and it will update the modchip, very nice. xkey is fine online as long as you make sure you backups are stealth verified with abgx, it's really no different then flashing but it means you dvd-rom is kept stock and the modchip gets a copy of your key.
