What online computer shops you have there I can look up the parts and price them out for ya. It will help in building your machine. _________________________________________________________
I put together a badass machine for my friend that cost about $1700 US dollars back in July. I'd be willing to help you out if you provided me with a link to a site that you're going to use to buy your parts. _________________________________________________________

you may be disappointed in the speed of your machine with a green hard drive its really only meant for storage lol Stick with caviar blue or black.
Anything made by XFX stay clear of, their idea of quality is lacking and thats from personal experience last thing you want is to have your power supply catch fire because a faulty assembly.
16 Gb of ram is overkill for a gaming rig unless your planning on getting into heavy video editing and design, my computer barely uses 3.5 Gb of ram out of the 8 I do have lol
Video card well im sure that will change when the 6 series comes out next year.
Maybe look into getting a solid state hard drive, highly recommend it if you want serious speed of your system. _________________________________________________________

If it cant run Sony Vegas it really has to be old Anything will do _________________________________________________________
Brands I usually like to buy when building a computer:
PSU: Corsair
HDD: Seagate
CPU: Intel
Mobo: Asus
Case: CoolerMaster
Graphics card: Nvidia
Graphics card vendor: EVGA
RAM: I used to get OCZ, but they don't make RAM anymore. I guess Corsair or Crucial are good now
That may help when you decide what parts you want in your computer. _________________________________________________________
