I went over to my mates place today and was playing Halo Reach on his Xbox. He bought the Legendary edition and had the Legendary Flames. However, on his box I also had access to it as well, even though I never had the code. It occurred to me that since he downloaded the file which enables it in game, I could use it as well since im on the same box.
I went into the memory section of the game and copied the Bonus Marketplace file which tells the game to enable the flames and copied it to mine, which it didnt work since he was the one who downloaded it and not me.
Is there a way I can reauthor the file so that I can have access to it?

good question,
i know for a fact you can resigned all sorts of things and assign them to another gamertag but have not done this myself. no doubt you would need to have access to the files on your hdd via xboxgamesaves manager or something then patch it.
It's strange that it didn't work, i would have thought it would work that way.
