I hate to admit it...choke,choke... but ya, go with a mac for your videos and stuff. If you decide pc, stay the hell away from nvidia chipsets. Even now ALL laptop manu's are still having heat issues with them, and put a lot of money into cooling it. Another major reason why I got a reflow station is to fix them and 360's. Although I'm big their pc video cards because of cuda technology, and 3d.

I have a Macbook Pro and installed Win 7 on both a Virtual machine and a Boot Camp partition. The only thing I did was upgrade the HDD to 750 GB.

The good thing about the Macs is that you can run any app/program from an external drive. Saves space on the actual HDD. Just my 2 cents.
