Thanks guys. I still dont really understand but Ill keep reading up on it and see where I endup.
That doesnt make any sense why people would get online if they know they will get banned. There has to me more of a reason to it, I would think anyway.
ALso, if the KeyVault is unique to each xbox then why does it matter if they JTAG it and get banned or not? What I mean is for example, my xbox has a KeyVault, right? So If I turn it off and sit it in the corner for the next 30 years I have just wasted that KeyVault the same as If I JTAG the console and get it banned. WHats the difference unless I can give the KeyVault to someone else. And if thats possible, why would someone want a new KeyVault unless they themselves have been banned?

Yeah, charge people for 10th prestige in Modern Warfare 2.. Or the odd one for 15th prestige in Black Ops...
Also, as I said above... If your going to even get a JTAG, use it for the right reasons and experiment, don't try make money off of it.

KeyVaults are very limited, and when you go online, they get banned within 1-4 hours. You may all be saying, who cares, I can just get another one. But the truth is, no, you can't. The only way you can get a keyvault is with a JTAG Xbox 360. XBox 360's are now manufactured with the latest dashboard and kernel update. Which means, they cannot be JTAG'ed. And no, there won't be another exploit for a while.
I hate to burst your bubble there Legendary, but you CAN get a keyvault after the update, you have to do the wires and dump the nand a few times to verify, but you can't write to the nand or you made a HUGE paperweight. I'd know because I did it _________________________________________________________
I dont mean to knock a 2 month old thread to the front, but isnt there private networks you can play on with JTAG? Dont mind me if this sounds stupid Im still stuck in 05 with my OG XBOX, havent even tried to nail my slim yet other than a generic HDD. WD isnt the only brand that works Samsung does too(Im using 1) for those of you doing the gen HDDs by the way.

There are a couple of programs XBSLink and Xlink Kai that allow you to play system link games, but the number of games you can play and the volume of users is not great. Xlink kai was used for the original xbox i believe.
I bought a jtag coz i don't mind playing with myself, i know that will be quoted _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.

Not possible, the Xbox 360 NAND may be read and wrote to at any time, but when it is decrypted by the 360 it will be all invalid. The whole NAND is encrypted with the CPU key which can only be obtained by using the Linux distribution XeLL or XeLLous. That's what the update did, was blew one of the E-FUSE and rewrote the first boot loader to prevent the console from booting into Linux again. I have done it as well. _________________________________________________________

Hey Legendary,
I was thinking of buying a jtaggable 360 once the Xbox One comes out.
Can you please explain a little more about how there is a limited of keyvaults or something?
I've seen plenty of tuts on youtube explaining how to unban a console. Are you morally against bringing jtagged consoles online or is there actually a limited amount of keyvaults that can be generated?
This tutorial didn't mention anything about limited keyvaults:
Thanks for educating us

It doesnt work that way, it's not the console itself that it is banned, it's your cpu keys that is in a blacklist in the Xbox Live servers. So you may "unban" your console by replacing the cpu key with a key from another console. It help much because you will banned again once you log into Live. _________________________________________________________
If you are JTAG/RGH then you are an epic retard if you sign in to Live lol. This isnt XB1 days when we could feed M$ a bullshit image of a virgin OS. YOU HARDMOD 360 YOU MAKE A CHOICE. HOMEBREW OR M$. And a newsflash for the users, the idea of hacking 360 so you can have cake and eat it too will NOT happen until last days of 360, just like XB1.
