Has anyone else used this utility? As of right now, until Team Xecuter releases the connectivity kit, it requires you to open the hard drive casing. I have really found it to be a great tool to back up my hard drive and my saves. I had to purchase a USB to SATA adaptor for like $25 but it was worth it. It has also allowed me to check out some of the action on different levels on games that I'm really not sure if I want to buy.
What is a hassle though, is that some games, when you play off another gamesave from someone else, will sometimes unlock the achievements. This sounds good until it unlocks the later ones in a game without unlocking the first achievements required to get later ones. It then makes you look like a cheater. Lucky for me I used a spare profile on my 360 to test it.
Now my main reason for starting this topic, would have to be, does anyone think this could be the way into creating our own larger drives for the 360? They have an option to backup an image and restore an image to the fatx drive. I was wondering if there was a way to find out what they need for the 3 different partitions, which ones are locked to a certain size and see if we could enlarge ones, if not locked, to create our own. Since you can use a modchip to format a standard hard drive with fatx, all you would need is a IDE to SATA converter. I don't have a modchip in any of my boxes, but that is next on my list, to get a chipped box so that I can experiment with this. If anyone else has some ideas on this please feel free to comment and let me know your ideas.

You do know there are no chips for the 360 right? lol. Certainly could be an unlternative to Norton Ghost for creating a disc image.

I was meaning use a modchip from an original Xbox to format the drive in the right way in the FATX file system. All there would need to be is a IDE to SATA adaptor. Sorry for not clarifying that in the earlier post. That idea was in my head but I wanted to get it out before it became all jumbled. I didn't succeed. LOL I have tried Norton Ghost and it doesn't work. That was what I tried just to see what would happen. Also, when you make a backup image of the 360 drive, even if you haven't used the entire drive, I still show about 11GB left, the entire image is just a little over 18GB. Not sure what exactly that means.

I guess one way to see what the drives are called, technically couldn't you look hook up the current 360 sata drive, after a backup of course, to a xbox with a modchip just to get the partition sizes and names. Without a chipped box, I'm pretty much worthless. After that I'm really not sure on how to determine the sizes and names.
