Give me a break Xbox, I was so happy playing Fallout new vegas until my screen became kinda matrix trails in red.

I load and reload the game and it happen always only on game play. So turn the X off and turn on again to found this shit...

Sad Sad Sad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Again? another Red light error, With a Falcon...

So I was saving money to buy Kinect next week... guess what? I'll have to spend it on a new Jasper motherboard.

Serious Bill Gates... Give my wallet a break.

Darn that sucks! If my Elite goes bad, I'll be getting the Slim. The old 360 I had that I fixed now dies all the time, after 5 fixes I am sick of it. It's going in the scrap heap! I hope you have better luck with the Jasper mainboard

The fist 360 I ever had i bought from ebay with the rrod and fixed it and after a year i had to constantly be playing with the screws to get it to work again too lol, but i felt the same, just junk it and get a new one got tired of it fraggin out while in middle of my games lol.. I hear ya splinter, i've had similar problems happen to me and the 360 wasnt repaired, it was fairly new, but i just went back to walmart and got a new one. I had to buy 3 of them so far brand new because something would happen to it.

You bet Hobbs, I got enough coin for a Jasper motherboard (It was to buy Kinect - I guess Kinect will have to wait)

I give it to a friend of mine that has a lot of experience in fixing x360s to try fix it so I may sell it.
However he remind about an xbox I have with a tray problem. He said it is a shame updated that dashboard.

So came home to verify which dashboard I installed and found out it is 2.0.7371.0, which as far as I know is JTAG able rigth?

Now I wounder if it I can Jtag it without a working DVD drive, If yes I'll have a Falcon Jtag console (I hope so)

yes You can jtag it without a working dvd drive i was told as there is ones without dvd drives in them. But if you need a dvd drive you can get one that is cheap 20-25 so its not bad in either case Smile i have one that is jtagable to you can do the jtag mod and everything to get the cpu key and full f/w of the dvd drive at the same time. Pretty sure this can be done ask legendfire he has jtag console should know more about it. Think i spelled his name correct lmao.

My Xbox is fixed Very Happy and soon will be on sale.

As for the other, I dont have time plus I hate to use my soldering iron, but I got someone else to JTAG it for me Cool

That will be my default xbox for now on.

Scarface, I did try use another drive, it was the same problem, with JTAG I will be able to see if it was a problem with the Drive Key or not.
