Ok so i know you can't just wire up a usb port to one of the mem. slots and plug in a flashdrive and use it as a memory card, but i was curious if anyone knew of anyone that figured out how to get it to work or not. Thought it would be a fun little project to do if it was possible and save me a few bucks for a memory card or hdd. However it seems a little difficult trying to find any good info on it, lots of garbage but nothing good so i figured i would ask and try and save a few hours of useless searching for something that may not even be possible.

Hi jake505,
The xbox 360 does not allow data to be written using the usb ports. Maybe on homebrew but not for retail 360 that's for sure.
I wish you could too man, if i hear of anything i will be sure to write up about it..
yea i know that what i was tryin to say was take a female usb plug and wire the +5v and ground to one of the xboxs usb ports but then use the memory card slots data+ and data- for the data wires. what I was wondering is anyone had maybe figured out how to i dont know spoof a flash drive into looking like a memory card, because the xbox doesn't recognize a plain flash drive if you just wire it up like this.
thanx
