Strange problem im having with new 360 is the RF board keeps going bad on it, it will randomly do this about a week or so apart, will turn the 360 on and off but no lights come on and controllers wont sync up to it.. Im not too sure what to think of this one, maybe someone else knows what could be going on with it? _________________________________________________________

i do have rf boards available but they are not for the new jasper model ones of 09 as they changed it out a little bit compared to the older ones. Just shoot me a offer if need be.
Ive had rf boards do that before like urs pretty much the rf board was shot some how. well take care. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!
i have a couple layin around for now, they seem to work good as they are from older models.. im not sure what model i have, never looked into to find out how to tell, i think the mfg date is 04/09.
I forgot to add in the original post that i am not using the power supply that came with it, that one was small and the one im using now it big, could that be causing it?
I'll get in touch with you Scar if/when i run out of them lol. _________________________________________________________

that could be the problem as the new model 09 ones have a 150watt power supply and there smaller then the older ones i would try it out if you have the original one. Otherwise ya try another rf board sometimes like i stated the rf board just goes out good old ms. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!
yea, ill have to give it a try sometime, unfortunately i dont have the original, i give it to a friend cuz his went bad and i didnt really like the idea of it being all plastic, just seemed like it would be more prone to breaking.. but yea ill definately try to borrow it back for awhile and see if it does the same thing, i think the one im using now is the 203 watt, not positive though.
Edit:
just a thought i had, would it be about the same if i were to convert a low power computer power supply for it? _________________________________________________________

if its a newer xbox 360 i can see it using the 175w or 150w but not the 203w. i have seen people do the computer power supply but seems to much work. if putting another rf board does not fixed it try putting the old back in and getting that power supply back to test and if everything works thats the problem.
Its 2 things
1 the rf board is dead
2. not the right power supply and its messing with everything.
i dont know any other problem it could be. I am more going tords it being the rf board being bad so i had would do that first and if its a new one i dont know if you can use the old ones on it because from what i seen they revised it a little bit probably after june 09 they did this. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!
Ok, sounds good... It would make sense that the power supply could be frying them if it's higher wattage than the original though, i didnt even really think to look to see the power differences in them. It will probably be awhile before i can test with the original one, but I'll post back with my findings when i get it. _________________________________________________________
