Just putting it out there, i'll put it up on the site about the project i finished a month ago on an alternative to adjusting the sensitivity for your pads/cymbals. It involves using 100k potentiometers that can turn 300 degrees. I'm still unsure if these are the same supplies as the official j5 but the purpose is to show how you can build one extremely cheap. The one featured on my youtube channel only cost roughly $25.00 for the pots, wire, and 1/4" mono jacks.
