Just a quick question.. Do you know of anyone running a modchip??
Ive never come accross too many since i removed my old v1 mod in 2006.
I also heard there is a region free chip which can change the mode of your console with the flick of a switch.. Im looking into it for all my NTSC games i have and my NTSC console is broken..
It will help me alot! I got like 100+ original games. I miss all my region locked games like forza 2, shadowrun etc. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

hope it helps out someone looking for this info!.. I will add the product to the hardware area so check out our Xbox 360 Hardware and Addons database from the link - http://hardware.360-hq.com

In case nobody found out how, here it is.
You can check your kernel version in "System -> Console Settings -> System Info". The line at the bottom contains your kernel version in the format K:2.0.nnnn.0, where nnnn is your four digit kernel version.
I think the chip is based on the free60 hack/exploit.
