In reality nothing you do will keep a faulty 360 from overheating or rroding. I know guys who have thier 360 sitting on a carpeted floor or covered with so much dust it isnt funny. I have seen guys put them in enclosed entertainment centers and all these guys have never had one single problem with thier 360's. The fact is when you buy any electronics product especially one that produces high heat in a small space you are likely to have a problem with some of them. The actual numbers on repair claims has now gone from 80% to somewhere around 35% with the introduction of better quality parts and cooler running cpu's and gpu's. Microsoft has openly admitted that they rushed the 360 way before it was ready and have been really good about repairing them at no cost to the consumer. So eventually no matter what kinda fan you use if your 360 is faulty it will break. Hopefully you will never have a problem. I myself have installed a talismoon whisper fan in one of my 360's and have always used intercoolers on all my other 360's with no problems whatsoever. Hell I even have a old intercooler that has the plastic plug. Anyhow whichever fan you decide to use is up to you. Now go play a game and have some fun! _________________________________________________________
