I'm planning on shoehorning my 360 into a slim mATX case. One of my goals is to get rid of the need to use the large power brick and use the case's internal PSU.
My question is: If I were to use an ATX PSU, will the PSU turn itself off automatically once the 360 shuts down, or will it's fan run all the time until it's unplugged/turned off using the power switch on the back of the supply?
I always assumed the motherboard would have to send a signal to the PSU for it to turn itself off properly, but maybe I'm wrong?
