Hi guys,
Firstly i gotta say i absolutely love this game.. Money well spent let me tell ya's.. The only gripe i have is with the achievements..
I did finish the game and seen the credits but yet it still tells me i must do all this other CO-OP stuff.. So my problem with this is..
What happens if you dont have a second controller and second, Not everyone has mates over everyday to do this type of thing so what are you suppose to do??
I work alot as im sure you all know so when i game its more when im home alone at night or of a weekend with mates over.. Does anyone else feel the same? lol probably not.

The answer to this is simple! Microsoft's answer to EVERYTHING: You must infuse more money into your system!
Hey! I'm getting closer to beating Thorn! Once I got him down to about 25% life left before he killed me. One of my controllers has more reliable trigger function. Intially, I couldn't get Thermite in & out of bomb mode and into shield quickly. With my other controller, I'm having much better luck! Now, I'm primarily dying because I suck. _________________________________________________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

Did you stay in close to him or relatively far away? I've tried far away with no luck. Plant trolls, fire trolls, etc. seem to eat me up... I try to run away from them while bombing Thorn. _________________________________________________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

"rumble"? Do you mean "Rubble"? Can Thorn be defeated with elemental warriors other than Thermite??? _________________________________________________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

I beat thorn using the last elemental.. (the fire dude).. lol
Cant remember.. hahah Anyway, the elemental im talking about has a shield.. You need to roll up into the shield by holding R1 and L1 at the same time.. And then thorn cant hurt you.
Then turn of your shielf and start using the bombs.. Throw them at his feet.
You want to straigh around (sideways always).

Thorn Boss Battle:
Thorn starts out with an attack similar to that of the
Rock Trolls, only this one goes into three directions instead of just one.
Thermite:
Using Thermite is suggested as he really makes a dent in thorns armour..
His Mortar Bombs will do the trick.. Use them while straigthing around (sideways)..
Once you take a small part of his life away, Kalus will summon some Plant Trolls to attack you. Continue firing the Morta Bombs and you will wipe them all out very easy.
Deep Blue:
Kalus will summon some Fire Imps next.
I hate these buggers.. lol.. You can either Switch to Deep Blue and quickly wash them away using the Right Trigger OR just forget they are there and continue to move constantly.. You will find that THORN actually kills the Fire Imps himself.. Just keep lobbing Mortar Bombs at thorn and let him do all the hard work..
If you use Deep Blue and have finished washing away the Fire Imps, go back to Thermite and start attacking thorn again with the morta bombs.
Thermite:
When Thorn keels over, he moves into his second attack mode which is more difficult then the first. Thorn will now leap into the air and land, causing shockwaves to come out towards you. He will also rush towards at you..
Dodge the shockwaves and when he rushes you use Thermites Shield and roll away from him. Remember you will need to disengage the morta bombs before you can use Thermites Shield.
Kalus will eventually call out some Rock Trolls. Thermite is still the elemental for the job at hand. Drop some bombs on them to turn them into dust. When they're gone, IceTrolls come which will eventually be replaced with more Rock Trolls. Thermite alone can handle all of these guys by himeself. But feel free to try your own favorite characters too.
Thorn will keel over one more time. When he rises, he is given a spiked ball on a chain to deal some damage.
Here's the deal:
Just keep using Thermite. If you slowly back away from him and keep Thorn peppered with Mortar Bombs, he won't be able to catchup with you.
If Thorn does catch up with you or get too close for comfort just use Thermites Shielf and roll away at high speed.
Kalus will summon some Trolls to attack you. ou'll be able to kill all of them with Mortar Bombs, except for the Water Trolls. Ignore them. If you wait keep backing away from them like you are Thorn,
eventuallyKalus will switch them out for a type of Troll that you can kill.
Keep lobbing the bombs at Thorn until his health is gone.
Chilla:
Although Thorn is down, Kalus isn't and can still bring Thorn back to life.. Switch to Chilla and nail her with 10 Ice Spikes to finish the battle, and the game. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

Thermite that was the 1 I used, great post Hobbs brought it all back. Yeh Thermite the funny cannon type thing, just keep bombing him and switch to a appropriate elemental warrior to defeat the things.
