Hi to all,
a friend of my has an xbox360 with the firmware adapt for backup games and he said that now they don't check anymore on live, is it true or just a bull.

Greetings and welcome to the site! As for your question you friend is very foolish if he thinks Microsoft has stopped looking for modded consoles. Believe me if they are slamming people with hacked gamerscores then don't you think they are going to be even harsher with modded consoles? Anyhow If you have any questions or comments feel free to post! If you need help with anything just let me know. _________________________________________________________

Moded consoles are sweet but keep them off the net unless you want to turn it on one day and find the Gestapo...uh I mean M$ has found you out.

I know...
That's why I assume that going live with a modded console is just too risky.
Actually even modding a console is not too good either.

Tis true that modding your 360 can be hazardous to it's health. I would think long and hard about cracking that warranty seal on a 360 with all the problems they have been having.I have two 360's that have never been opened and still have a intact warranty sticker. I am going to keep them that way until the warranty runs out. But yeah signing on with a modded console is just asking for a one way ticket to bansville. I think your friend is going to find that out the painful way though. _________________________________________________________

My console is modded and i play it every day. If it get's banned it gets banned, no big deal (unless you like to play online alot which i don't). At the end of the day, only the console gets banned you can still play your games. When i play multiplayer online, i use my original copies, but i doubt that matters anyway as no one knows (as far as i know) exactly how they ban you.
Piracy is bad, thats why you can rip cd's to your 360 hard drive.
M$ can kiss my shaven balls.
