Hi to all, i live in italy here we have a t3 provider that works behind a nat and comes with a router that acts as a dhcp server (just to give you a general idea). When i registered my live account i had no problems connecting, but now every time i try to go online it says: "some accounts were unable to connect.." if i run the diagnostic it says that i have no connection like if have no cable in the ehternet interface.. then if i swap the ethernet cable (straight or crossed it' s the same) in the router' s port it works after a few tries. In your opinion what kind of problem it is? _________________________________________________________ °°

Just a thought, but have you tried unpluging your router and modem for 30 seconds and then restarting them, then turn your 360 back on after all that and then try again??
Just a thought

thanks i just tried but no luck.. the provider usually assign ip to the devices in my house in a certain range (random prolly).. to me it seems that the 360 connects only if it have the correct ip.. but it sounds too strange..
EDIT: the 360 is configured to get everything automatically so it' s not binded to a particular ip by me.. _________________________________________________________ °°

Sounds like a router issue. Are you savvy with routers? Maybe it isnt forwarding the correct ports needed for XBLive...

I agree. Log nto your router, get the ip for your 360 and make sure that the ports are forwarded. that will defenitely give you a headache if it is not set up correctly. _________________________________________________________
