If you use an atx psu rather than the oem like myself you can cool your 360 after your shut it off.
With your atx psu hooked up and working(if you need help with this, there should be something in the tut section) cut the red and brown wires from the fan conector. Solder them to a length of wire and the solder them to this point. Thanks to endless for pointing that pic out for me.
If all went well your fans will continue to run for as long as you like after you've turned the 360 off, untill you flip the switch on the psu. You can also use just the red wire. This way the gpu fan will run at 12 volts and the cpu fan will still run also, but at stock speed.
I'm interested in knowing if the fans will still behave the same way if the psu gets it's signal from the 360 to go into standy-by when powered off. I don't think it'll work after that, but a simple toggle switch and extra wire added between pins 13 and 14 on the psu should work.
With the toggle on pins 13 and 14 are connected and the fans should run, when the toggle is off, the psu will wait for the signal from the 360's ready wire to come out of stand-by and power up the 360.
