Namco Bandai Games release the first multiplayer details for INVERSION, the upcoming gravity-shifting third-person shooter game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Developed by Saber Interactive, INVERSION is weaponizing gravity and turning the shooter world upside down. Join Davis Russel and Leo Delgato as they battle hordes of Lutadores and jump, flip and vector shift their way through gravity defying levels. With his daughter missing and conventional weapons and tactics all but useless, this ordinary cop and his partner Leo Delgado will rise up to heed the call of duty, master the fundamental forces of gravity and save the world.
With up to 16 player multiplayer matches, the game offers a full slate of gravity challenging maps and modes of play. Gameplay modes range from traditional free-for-all & team deathmatch to gravity-based modes challenging players to rack up the most points using their skills and ability to control gravity. Players can even take complete control of the gravitation forces and shift the entire level to their advantage, hurling hapless opponents into the sky in the process. Play through the compelling story on your own or play with others in either co-op or competitive modes.
INVERSION is scheduled for release February 7, 2012 in North America and February 10, 2012 in Europe. Stay tuned for more information on this exciting new take on third-person shooter games.

Codemasters reveal the latest in-game trailer from the upcoming first-person shooter for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Bodycount is an upcoming first-person shooter developed by Guildford Studio for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game is considered a spiritual successor to the game Black developed by the same team.
"Bodycount’s interactive environment can be summed up by the following: “Take a gun to a wooden weapons crate, and it will slowly, believably disintegrate, the wood chipping away to reveal a more stubborn metal frame and within an ammo box that sits atop a bundle of straw - shoot the ammo box and as you'd expect it's fireworks time." - (Martin Robinson, IGN)
By scoring kills, players can unlock power-ups such as air strikes that further decimate the environment. The game will also offer a unique cover system where the player will have near complete freedom while in cover. Team Deathmatch and Co-op will also be available.

Microsoft is launching an Xbox 360 hub today, where users can scan in their own objects, quickly create gaming avatars and play with other technologies through the Kinect motion sensor.
Kinect Fun Labs, as it’s called, will showcase new things that hobbyists and developers in the video-game industry have engineered Kinect to do. For instance, this morning at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, Microsoft showed how users could scan a stuffed animal into their Xbox and goof around with a 3D model of it.
Through Kinect, people will eventually be able to scan in a model car, for instance, and drive it around in a racing game, Microsoft said. Or scan in their own skateboard and use it in a skating game.
The Redmond-based company also showed how Kinect can scan a user’s face and body to quickly create a customized gaming avatar. And Microsoft showed how Kinect is getting better at tracking fingers, an ability that soon will allow mimed trigger-pulling in shooter games, said Kudo Tsunoda, the creative director for Kinect.
Other Kinect Fun Labs “gadgets” – they seem to be more like mini-games – include one to make a bobble-head of yourself, playing around with a “googly-eyed” character, and making posed avatar images.
Kinect Fun Labs launches today for Xbox Live members, Tsunoda said. He said it will automatically update as more Kinect “gadgets” are added to the catalog.
Microsoft finally revealed "Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary" during the E3 Conference. Shortly after the announcement, two comparison screenshots emerged.
"Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary" will be released to celebrate the games 10th anniversary, and is set to feature updated graphics that take full advantage of the 360 - plus, you guessed it, Xbox LIVE Multiplayer Co-Op! Take control of your Xbox LIVE experience with cooperative play, new challenges, and some favorite maps reimagined for Xbox LIVE. The game will connect players to the Halo: Reach servers, and won’t feature multiplayer of any kind except for co-op mode.

Xbox Live Gold members can now download a free playable demo for Fable III via the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. The new demo weighs in at roughly 1.8 GB, and should be available in most Xbox LIVE regions.
