I turned my machine on to find that a download had to take place. I wasn't aware of the update, but I am sure some of you will run into it.
Update:
As per 1up's article this was actually the January 2006 update.
January 2007 Xbox 360 Update: January 2007 Update was only for a few performance issues and also fixed some stability problems. Sadly this update didn't feature any updates to the new IPTV deal, nor add any other features that we can see.

- Option to retain your saved games when you delete a profile.
