4: Burning Drive
Ripping
1: Start up Xbox Backup Creator
2: Select the drive you will be ripping with SH-D162C, Samsung drive loaded with Firmware 5.3 or earlier.
3: Insert the game you intend to backup into your dvd drive, it will see the small video partition of a few MB.
4: Select Start, select a directory and enter a name.
5: When completed, you will get a 7,395,392KB .ISO (or 7.05GB) file and a 1KB .DVD file for x360 games. The .iso for Xbox1 will be 7,258,816KB (or 6.92GB).
6: You can verify the stealth/iXtreme of the image with dvdmulleter, if you want to be certain your game is perfect. If you followed the above steps you should be ok, but with all the bannings going on better safe then sorry.
How to ensure your game is backed up correctly and has video partition, video data, security sectors, pfi, dmi and lastly if its iXtreme compatible.
1: Start up XDVDMulleter
2: Select View ISO details press next
3: On the tabs, select Load from file, select browse, and go to the directory you saved your game to. Then select load file.
4: It will give you quite a bit of information, but what were after is the Xtreme Compatibility section, which includes video partition, video data, security sectors, pfi, dmi and iXtreme Compatible. If all the boxes are checked you have created a good backup. If any of these is not checked you have problems, and your backup is not safe for online play. If the iXtreme box is not checked, and you have iXtreme firmware installed, the game will not load nor play.
How to burn your copy.
1: Startup Xbox Backup Creator, if its not already running
2. Select your dual layer burner from the top drop down box, if its not already selected.
3. Put in a black dual layer Dvd + R disc in the drive. Select your writing speed, 2.4x is recommended, but you can burn at a faster speed, there have been reports that this might induce longer load times, I personally use 2.4x. If the start button remains non clickable (grey) you need to check that you have the right drive selected, and that you have a dual layer +R disc in your drive.
4: Press start, load your Iso file. It will start to burn your game automatically.
5: When it finished, pop out your backed up copy and enjoy.
Since you verified your important files before burning, you do not have to check again after burning your game.
This is a work in progress, and will be updated regularly. Pictures will be added when time prohibits.
