EVGA's precision is also another great OCing tool for graphics cards in my experience.

What's BF3 ??? Boy Friend 3, wait what? LOL just joking

Any opinions on this sucker?? AMD Phenom II X6 1090T 3.2 GHz... price seems nice. I am thinking of building a gaming rig with it.

My Dell game rig has a Intel Q6600 but I will be swapping it out for a Q9550 soon, it just needs a little more boost.

I just started playing around with video capture. The Q6600 and Nvidia GT 8800 512MB seems to struggle with games running and the software running at the same time while capturing. So I'll put a Q9550 and a Nvidia GTX 260 896MB "216 Core EVGA Superclocked Edition" Video Card and see what happens. Oh and it currently has 3 GB RAM but I do have anther 1 GB to put in it so it will have 4 GB RAM.

I have a ATI HD/TV video capture card in case your wondering on how I intend to capture game video.

I would go with the 1100T, for the sake of about 30 bucks for a bit more to push out and with water cooling you can get alot more from it.

Should post in PC-HQ what your plan on putting in your new gaming rig

I was going to show off how cool I could run it with only air but then the video conversion added black bars that blocked out my on screen info, maybe next time ill adjust the info position down a bit so it shows, but had it running cool at no more than 40c with 19c room temp, and all settings at Ultra, resolution at 1024 x 768 as I do not have a newer monitor to run the higher resolutions.

FPS maintained pretty steady at the 59-61 mark, would jump every now and then, but never dropped low. On single HIS 6950 stock clocked.
This is first co-op mission

If you want bang for your buck go ATI, youll save at least $30 on an equivalent card. And if you want to run BF3 and capture the 260 doesnt have a chance. Nvidia you will need to go 400 series or higher. ATI 59-69 series. Even my 6850 at 4x mem clock OC can barly hold over 40 FPS while recording with FRAPS. Plus its a DX10 not DX11 card http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_geforce_gtx_260_us.html

You got the Turbo model for CPU so you dont actualy need to OC it does it for you, up to 3.5Ghz automaticaly. But only if whats running doesnt use all 6 cores, which I dont think theres a game yet designed for hex core. Your vid card should be able to run the game no problem but recording is most likely out of the question http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/EVGA-GeForce-GTX-465-SuperClocked-Video-Card-Review/1017/13

Try downloading and using Afterburner 2.2.0 beta 8, Its what I use and it will not stress your frame rate like Fraps does. Whats your EA game tag scar?

Sounds like I'll have to wait on capturing until I build the new gaming rig. It will be plenty of power Very Happy
