Im not a regular on their site, but the last few days people have found a glitch that lets you team kill all you want without getting kicked, You have to do it a special way which I will not repeat here.
Anyway I think the 2X experience weekend might have been something they threw in at the last second. I got on earlier and everyone that tried to play hardcore was redirected to core matches. I am thinking what may be going on is they need to work on the Hard core programing to fix these glitches right away and left the core war matches open, and threw in 2x exp to keep people online playing that would normally just stay off line till hard core was back up and also to keep players from complaining too much. One thing I can say about the guys at Cod5 is that they are quick to fix glitches com paired to infinity ward and they promise alot more DLC and at a faster pace.
