Extract360 is a front end user interface project by LegendaryFire for ExISO; which allows you to extract your game Xbox 360 ISO for playing on modified consoles with a USB drive or internal hard drive.

This simple applications makes extracting games a whole lot easier, and best of all; there is no need for command prompt! I'm currently looking for testers so anyone who wants to try it out, let me know how it works.

You can grab the download from here.

Just a small shout out to ForAHobby for the server and all of his work done within the past few years, greatly appreciated & without it I'd be a lot less knowledgeable.

Hey Legendary,

There is exiso GUI program out there already FYI.

I've had trouble extracting ISOs with it in the past. So I turn to xbox image browser for most of my iso extractions.

I'll definitely give your program a try. If it works out well for me, I'll be sure to recommend it to others.

Thanks for your efforts!

Yep I seen that, personally it feels unfinished and doesn't have a good taste for the interface in general. I've also read online that it was depreciated due to some bugs which caused the FTP function to fail, which to my current understanding has not been fixed, and might not ever be (don't quote me on that).

The core functionality of the application (extracting ISO's) works great, but I don't like how you have to search a whole directory for ISO's when most of the time people will only be using the tool to extract a simply ISO. The file naming of the extracted ISO folder is also based on the parent folder in which the ISO is located. If your like me, and actually back up your games you get tired of seeing each game you extract be called "Desktop", then have the next ISO in the list fail due to the fact the folder "Desktop" already exists.

Anyways, to the point; as mentioned above I feel it has some work, and not saying that mine doesn't have any work to be done to it, I feel it's generally a bit more stable than the other GUI out there.

F.Y.I.: Good job to the author of the first ExISO GUI, this message was not meant to bash but rather to inform others of my personal opinion of the application.

Hey Legendary thanks for taking the time to respond.

Yeah that other exiso GUI application was annoying me a little bit.

Here's my big pet peeve with these iso programs.

It asks you to locate an iso to extract or supply a file path for where to dump the extracted iso, they use some sort of windows GUI popup windows that doesn't let you paste file paths. It's very irritating and makes the process of extracting multiple isos a real pain, especially when the program makes you go all the way back manually to the folder containing your isos.

I like the windows GUI window that typically opens up when saving a document, you know the one that allows you to paste file paths? It looks just like this guy:

Does your GUI version of exiso use this type of popup window to navigate through folders? I'd sure be a happy man if it does!

Thanks again for all your efforts!
