Hi guys,
I have been doing some upgrades and stuff trying to get the site smoother and faster and have loads more plans coming so stay tuned. Anyway, I just need some feedback.
Which browser are you using on HQ?
- internet explorer
- firefox
- chrome
- safari
- etc
please provide as much info as you can like which page on the site loads the slowest for you.
Main home page loads the slowest at anywhere from 6-8 seconds from click to fully loaded. The rest of the pages load as fast as any other site.
I am using windows XP x32 at the moment but will be switching to Windows 7 ultimate x64 any day now and will report any differences.
My internet speed is approx 7mb/sec down.
I have not been on the site as much as I would like lately but am currently not noticing any bugs.
One thing I notice though, not sure if it is gone because you changed it or because it may be a bug, but the audio that sounds like you just got an xbox 360 achievement is gone. I Really liked it at first, but I have to admit it became annoying over time. I like it better without it now. No offense I hope lol.
If there was a change I would recommend, it would not be directed towards the site, but rather at one of the sponsors, that ADTECH add on the right hand side of the page in the huge white box, If you are not paying attention it just off hand looks like one of those add boxes that does not load or is empty. Thats a huge add block that they should make more use of and put something in there to grab your attention so they would get more clicks. Just looks lazy on their part.
I use Firefox 4 and all of the pages I use load incredibly fast. No problems at all with speed on this site, unlike the terrible slowdowns that happen on G4tv.com all of the time _________________________________________________________

Im using IE8 every now and then the homepage here and XBOX-hq will load slow but thats only when I havent deleted my browsing history for a couple days. I tried IE9 but its a piece of shit and literaly everysite I tried to visit made it non responsive, in fact it even blocked Windows Live saying it had an invalid certificate. Like everything else Windows its just a rip off of someone elses work. Is it just me or does IE9 look exatly like FF with a few cosmetic changes?
