I really miss the new gaming machines being released every few years. It would be cool to have a new system on the market. the better it is the more it will get Xbox and Playstation a kick in the butt to maybe build a whole new system. Im ready for ither an Xbox720 or PS4. I want a leap in power and graphics such as has been done in the past. Lately things seem to have really slowed down on graphics and capability increases, so much so that if it is happening it is so slow you do not notice it.

I know, one of the computers I got 3 years ago blows the 360/PS3 way when it comes to games but I still love consoles. The 360 still impresses now and then and I am not exactly tired of it, hell, I still play the old xbox, dreamcast and Saturn. Been playing The Elder Scrolls Morrowind on the first xbox and while the graphics are low, I am lured into the game just because how fluid and playable it is.
Same goes for stuff on Saturn and DC. Like Shenmue, Love that game. I would love to play a new super duper version of it.
I'd love to see a new Sega machine except I doubt they can compete with Microsoft and Sony. Man, just to pry people away from xbox live will be near impossible. In the first vid it says sega dreamcat 2 at the very beginning. They say they love the dreamcast but they cannot spell it.
In the second video, they show about 6 different consoles in the first 2 minutes. The one 1:45 into it is a £20 console that has about 30 shite games installed on it that you just plug'n'play.

There is evidence that Sega was at least looking into it and man you know they want to be king with Dreamcast 2 but it is highly unlikely to ever happen again in the next 2300 years. .... take it from a fellow Dreamcast/Sega fanboy from the late 80s/early 90's to present day, If this were to happen I would be there straight away. Dreamcast was and still is in my opinion the best console ever. I've still got my 200+ games for it and all the other Sega Consoles I ever owned (Including Master System, Mega Drive, Mega CD, 32x, Saturn, Game Gear, DC) and all the games I originally had for them too.
I highly doubt it will ever happen but hey, stranger things have happene.d Meantime, has anyone else heard about the game called Sturmwind coming for Dreamcast? Check this thread I posted at RAPTR out if you want to know more

That's not a particularly good example though really, I mean it was obviously going to happen the moment Sega began publishing for other consoles. Which made me sick by the way, seeing Sonic etc on other consoles lol! It was just an obvious move to make a tonne of money, tie in with Mario to try and get Sonics name out there to a wider audience.
Personally I thought the biggest surprise from Sega recently was being able to make a good Sonic game again after 10 years in Sonic Colours, seriously I have not had that much fun with Sonic in absolute donkeys years. Just a shame its only on the wii huh.
I am still hoping for a PROPER sequel to Panzer Dragoon Saga, an RPG not rails shooter, still waiting on another Sonic Adventure, another Shenmue and another Phantasy Star Online but I will probably be waiting forever

And yes seeing Sonic getting passed around like that hurt me too but I guess it had to happen.
