Hi guys,
Just been hunting through and seen that nobody is playing Far Cry yet.. Including me.. lol.. I bought this as i thought it would be a great title but havent had the time nor the feeling to want to play it.
Are there any HQ members playing this game right now??

I'd actually like to hear from some members that have played this one. I've kind of been put off the Farcry games. Is it worth a try? Is it much closer to the orig PC version? _________________________________________________________ JAy3k1

yeah this farcry game is much like the PC version, i was very dissapointed with the 1st xbox version of the game as it just didnt seem to have the same game play as the pc version.
The graphics are very similar to the PC's and i love the game but just havenet had the time to sit down and play it in a while, its a game well worth getting especially since its region free and has the 1st xbox version of the game included with better graphics.

Yeah i thought the 1st Xbox version was very average. The second instalment was much worse, i played that for a few hours before i needed to burn the disc.

Well I rented this game this week,,, and I must be getting old because I find it hard to play, I Don't have the patience to play stealth all the time, and I find it hard to aim with this game useing a controler. I don't have this problem playing Quake or COD2 but I always seem to overshoot my movements when I try to aim on this game . I can't seem to get it rite even changing the aim control to different settings.
If it were not for this I think I would like this game. _________________________________________________________

You too eh.. Ive noticed ive lost my patience too with age.. God i go off the ricta scale when i have a spat now.. lol..
I havent played the first game on xbox 1 but i guess ill check it out while i decide on which game im going to invest in..

Have you guys noticed the detail with the water in this FarCry game, all I can say is wow!! I'm having a hard time taking games serious on the 360 because it's hard not to always admire the scenery. It really did feel like the PC version, the other FarCry games sucked, FarCry Instincts and Evolution didn't make the grade in my opinion... _________________________________________________________ Xbox V1.3

I am finding this game quite fun. I am good at loosing the stealth and Rambo'in it in easy mode. Must be stealthy in the harder modes.
The graphics stucked on a HDTV Plasma 42" that everything else looked brillent on but on my HDTV it looks sweet. This game is a ball!
