anyone using 3rd party hard drives.i was looking at ebay to buy a 250 gig xbox 360 hard drive is anyone using them on xbox live.i sent a message to the seller and he said no one that he has sold to has been banned and he has been using the 120 gig version for a year with no problems.
As far as I know I've never heard of anyone being banned from a modded hard drive. I would not risk it though if it was me personally. _________________________________________________________

i dont think ive heard of someone actually been banned from using them either, but i would have modded one ages ago if i was sure it was safe but if i remember rightly the way they make the hard drive the have to clone it from an existing one, so there might be a chance that ms could detect that.
