hi, i have this problem with my xbox360
i tried to update some games and the electricity get off and it didnt finish, when i tried to turn on, this xbox360 presents this problems
- when it starts only show the logo and work fine until it fihish,
' i connected a wired control and it show the 1st light, if i unpluged it when the logo finish, the xbox360 dont turn on, but the logo keep running but dont start the dash
' if i turn off, i pressed the button and it comes off
but if i pressed the power button an press the sync butoon it didnt turn off it keeping the logo and i tried connect again the controller it didnt work (the control dont work in logo but it didnt turn on)
i tried these
- cleaning the cookies
- looked for a hd with newest dash but i didnt work
what do you think is the problem with this xbox360 ?

Ohh, that sucks. It problably was flashing the board when it failed. And, updating some games? Do you mean the Dashboard, because if it failed updating a game, it should NOT refuse to boot up. Just give Microsoft a call and hope your warranty is still in place. And, there are no cookies on the Xbox 360, haha. Cookies are for storing web information for faster loading and settings such as your login information in some cases. _________________________________________________________

hes talking his cache on the hard drive, try these things
1. Take the hard drive out and see if the xbox 360 will boot to the dash if so then it is a problem with your hard drive either a corrupt file or the drive is going bad.
2. If you had a bad install on a update you can try this Hold the sync button in and while doing this turn the 360 on and keep holding the sync button tell it boots the dash if this works then try updating again if not then i would be calling up ms if you are under warranty for a free fix.
A good way to get your xbox back faster is print the shipping label and ship the box out your self its all covered turn around time this way could be only 2 weeks if that. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!
