Just a little warning to anyone that plans to spend their precious MS Points on Download content from Bioshock 2.
There is a new download Pack for Bioshock 2 Multiplayer that just came out Called "SINCLAIR SOLUTIONS TEST PACK"
Among other things it promises (for 400ms Points)
"Rank Increase to level 50 with Rank Rewards"
Now many of you, Like Myself would interpret this to mean just what it says. Rank Increase to Level 50. (I download this and my rank will be bumped up to 50)?
Well it turns out it is rather a Level Cap Increase, not a rank increase.
So if you plan to play this game quite a bit, (enough to actually need a level cap increase) then this might be a great download for you.
But if you are like me, did not plan to play enough to actually get to any level caps, but thought. "cool, I got a few extra MS points, I will buy level 50 just to unlock all the guns and get a couple more days of fun out of Multi-player then move on to other things". Then you might be a disappointed as me to find I purchased a level cap increase that I do not think I will ever need.
I feel like the advertising was intentionally Misleading and Refunds should be offered to all who downloaded the content and that would like the refund. Also the content description should be reworded to LEVEL CAP INCREASE.
I read contracts and content very carefully to make sure I know exactly what I am signing, buying etc. As I did with this DLC. But you would have no way of knowing this is a Level Cap increase unless you were someone that played the game a lot and knew already there was a lower level cap.
If any of you hard core players out there saw DLC for MW2 that said "rank increase to level 90" You might pick up that this is a level cap increase but still many of us would also maybe think, Wow cap to 90 and maybe rank is increased to 90?
But someone new to MW2 and unaware of any level caps would interpret "rank increase to 90" as meaning ...Well Rank will be increased to 90.
If anyone else finds any misleading descriptions in DLC please be sure to post here on the site to warn the community. Microsoft does not Give Refunds for downloads, So lets make sure we stay informed so we get the best value for our MS dollars.

Did you also noticed that the new DLC for bioshock 2 was only 174kb??
In otherwords all this content was already on the disc and they are misleading everyone to think its new downloadable content when its not.

Ya, I read something about that after researching why my rank did not go up after the download. I saw some people posting that on the 360 and PS3 versions that the so called NEW CONTENT was already on the disc the whole time. So basically you pay 400msp to "unlock" what you already purchased.
A bit dirty considering DLC is supposed to be NEW content developed after game release. This would be like Modern warfare releasing MW2 but actually locking out 3 of the maps, Lets say Afghan, the Aircraft junkyard and one other, Then a few months after the games release putting up on marketplace "MW2 MAP PACK 1" for 800msp. You purchase and it UNLOCKS the maps already on your disc.
