im not that bothered i haven't have a single problem with my 360, except a pin on my scart caved but thats not to do with heat, so it has no real effect on my situation i'll still be able to play any game on my 360 that comes out.

I dont care either way.. If im modding ill be purchasing another 360 with the better chip just for modding and homebrew or ill swap it.. I wont be risking my LIVE or gamerscore thats for sure..

I dont want to have to tracj down all my friends again either.

anyway, just my 2 cents.

If you are seroiusl about 360 modding i would suggest saving for a 2nd unit especially for the early days.

This isn't going to make the processor faster or anything, people read upgrade and assume a faster clockspeed, all this will do is make the cpu it'self about 1/3 smaller at best, so it's it should also reduce some heat coming from the processor as it will be easier to cool and won't put quite as much heat out. I've had no problems, and I plan to have none, well atleast until I get my free 360.
