Howdy
I am a FM2 fanatic. I just put nearly 2 years of work into this game and now, when I try and play, the game hangs up at the initial "saving game data" screen. The problem happened after a friend gifted me a car.
I've tried all the usual stuff.....clearing the cache, deleting the DLC and then reinstalling it. Also, I have another GT which works fine.
Is there anything I can do so I don't have to start all over again? This site looks alot more technical than my usual hangouts.
What I do would is copy your gamesave to a memory card and then delete it off your hard drive. Try to start a new game and see if it still freezes. If it still does freeze then you know it's not your game save. _________________________________________________________
Yep, I have the game installed to my HD. I do not have a memory card though.
HI HO HI HO its off to the memory card store I go.
I will let you two fine gentlemen know what happens.....

Yeah after you sort it out you should check out the Forza 2 Clan we will be doing some races together soon.

I really think that I will be SOL as far as getting my old profile back running, but as soon as I get back on my feet, I will most happily spank you out on the track.

last resort what be to clear your xbox 360 cache.. Here is a link to a tutorial which will help you with that..
