Hi there,

i have a xbox 360 elite and its startin to get on my nerves. everytime i use the guide button it locks up for a good bit then unfreezes and it also does this in game play. sumtimes if im lucky my 360 would freeze and boot me out of a game, like Halo 3 for an example. its still under warranty. so exchangin my 360 for a new one should solve this problem right???

nope. i had a 2yr best buy warranty on it and got it exchanged today. works a whole lot better too.

Sweet deal, you might have even got a new console (jasper or falcon) meaning it will probably run even cooler and last longer

That's a falcon. Jaspers didn't start getting made until september 2008.

it didnt have an effect on my old one. so whats the difference b/t falcon and jaspers.

Jasper has 65 nm GPU which means less heat, which means way less RROD.

Falcons still have 90 nm GPU but it has a 65 nm CPU. Way less chance of RROD than the older models but it will still happen more often than a jasper will.
