Well this blows...was updating my firmware (finally got time to do it....was still using 1.3) but first i had to revert it and look what happened.

Man, are you sure you chose the right flashing options from the drop down??
Im pretty sure you have to choose the right flash option for your drive.

yea its very bad and I chose the right dropdown menu. O well thats why i have a 2nd 360. I need to find one of those chips thats compatible for the 78 hitatchi

why chip? spending money for nothing when you can flash for free Very Happy

also its proven that chips are easily detected and raises the chances of you being banned, or i think it is.. (if i have my facts straight)

Oh right..

Which reminds me, I still need to chip my cousin's bricked xbox since christmas Surprised

sorry to steal this thread, but its topic related :]
If i my 360 bricks in the future, I can easily chip it. But after I chip it and restore it back to normality, could I just take out the chip? And perhaps reuse it on another bricked 360?

My dad told me something about soldering it to an offset board so that its solderless.

that chip wont work...sadly i need a fix for the v78...or a new hitachi v78. If anyone has one let me know about pricing.
