Hi everyone, I'm a newb to the 360 HQ, but I have modded my share of regular XBOX's. I'm thinking of finally getting a 360, but I really would like to know how much work has come along on the emulator scene. I'm just wondering what the latest possibilities are for 360 emulators. If anyone has some info or a link for me, please share. My regular XBOX still works great I just want to upgrade. I'm hoping there is a fix for the PS1 and N64 emus.

As of right now emulation on the 360 is almost none existent.

There is a really simple NES emulator for the 360, but you can only use it if you have a media center PC. Other than this emulator, there is nothing as of yet.

hey dkoots,

Darth is correct. At this stage there are no emulators unless you want to run a NES emulator from a XBOX MEDIA CENTER MACHINE. Smile

The only other emu's that are out a MAMe360 but i hear you need a DEV KIT to play it.

Agreed.

Stick to original XBOX for emulation and media. Its remarkable how diligently homebrew has fought its way with the 360. Been years and still not much of a selection.. Think about the next console generations. Hombrews for the console may never exist due to extensive protection procedures.

Yet again, this is just from what I see it.

Yeah I doubt we will see any emulation or mods like that for 360, but it is an overall good game machine and has tons of titles. Also you can watch a decent amount of Divx/xvid stuff on it.

Best Regards,

I use my DREAMX Xbox 1 with extra ram to run my emulators.. Works just as nice as a pc nearly.. Most emulators work 100% with the extra ram.

Lean how to mod a xbox 1 here:
