I think I heard something a little while ago that said that the addon on blu-ray drive may come out in early 2009. I'm not 100% sure about this though.

Sadly I don't have an HDTV so I haven't been keeping up on blu-ray at all. I'm fairly sure microsoft is going to put out the blu-ray addon soon though.

hows you play Xbox360 with no HDTV? awwww you need an HDTV dude experiance is sooooo much better. It was so good, i went out and bought a 50 inch samsung widescreen for my gaming.

Every source at Microsoft asked said the same thing and that is there is not now or has there ever been a plan to use Blu-ray in the 360.

Sorry man but it is Microsoft's stand to bring us top of the line gaming and movies got to take the back seat for them to give us that.

I'm with Wes on that one. A lot of digg's on the rumor but nothing verified by M$. They were too busy making it into a Wii ripoff. Damn I hate the new experience except for being able to load the game onto the HD and play from there with the original disk. Guess I'm too old to enjoy it that much Shocked

I'm 31 and i like the NXE, but to the point i have posted 3 or 4 news story's ware MS had to put out statements to end the Blu-ray rumors and trust me they will be cycling the same rumor in a few more weeks and MS will be right there to stomp it.

but why would MS stomp the blu-ray out? I mean there's no push for HD DVD's they are not being made anymore. I just dont get some of the stuff that MS pulls.
